The National Museum
After coming across Greyfriar's Bobby we decided to have lunch at a little cafe nearby:
It was really good:
Then we progressed down to the National Museum and an early Steam Engine engineered by Wylam Dilly circa 1815 - a close relative of George Stephenon's "Rocket"
The Animal Hall was amzing
We found a digital waterfall that allowed you at the bottom to tap an image and it would show you what the National Museum had and where to find it:

Just catching up with your travels having arrived home from our much less exciting ones. Great to see updates of some places we've been too- not that much seems to have changed! So glad that you are enjoying tripping around.
