A beautiful fine warm sunny day
Edinburgh Castle
Today we started off by catching bus No. 13 from Blackhall to Princess Street. Cost £1.70 for an adult single fare.
We got off at Princess Street gardens and walked from there to the Information Centre by Waverly Station
With great views up to the castle:
We eventually got to the Royal Mile and came across Mary-Ann's piper - still there:-
Inside Emi & Kai found a canon:
And we found Mons Meg
Then we heard the one o'clock gun go off:
The inside of The Great Hall was beautiful;
Including the roof:
On the way home we had ice creams in the gardens before catching the bus home:
I waited and waited for that gun to go off and then got such a fright I missed the photo altogether!
